Also known as Onur Havayolları Taşımacılık A.Ş is a Turkey-based low-cost airline which was established on 14th April 1992. Its headquarters is located at Atatürk International Airport in Istanbul, Turkey. The airline flew its maiden flight to Ercan Airport in the Northern Republic of Cyprus on 14 May 1992 with Airbus type A-320 aircraft. The airline started cooperating with Ten Tour in 1994, a leading company in the tourism sector, which resulted in an increase in passenger volume. In 1996, Ten Tour acquired ownership of the Onur Airline. The airline mostly operates scheduled domestic flights as well as a wide range of chartered flights from its main base at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. It is also the only airline company to have received EN9110:2010 Quality Standardization Certificate in Turkey. Over the years the airline is said to have played an important role in the development of the airline transport market in Turkey and has won awards for its service helping its passengers have a pleasant flight.

The airline allows the passengers to check in at least 2 hours prior to the departure of their flights and allows its passenger to carry 15 Kgs of baggage and an 8 Kgs of the handbag. The airline doesn’t allow any kind of liquid eatables such as pickles, jams, honey etc on their baggage. If the passengers’ baggage is found to be tampered with or is damaged the airlines do ask them to report the matter to them.
