The airline was established on March 14, 2001, by Oger Holding A.S operating domestic and international flights with its headquarters and base at Istanbul, Turkey. Until 31st March 2015, it was operating by the name of Atlas Jet and by 1st April 2015 it was renamed as AtlasGlobal. The airline operated its first flight on June 1st, 2001. Initially the airline just had two Boeing aircraft, which later increased to 4 aircraft in July 2003 and currently, Atlas Global has 23 aircraft. Its subsidiary ZagrosJet, which was named after Zagros Mountain and is headquartered at Erbil, Kurdistan. ZagrosJet operates passenger and cargo schedule and unscheduled flights.

Note: The above doesn’t include destinations of ZagrosJet.Zagrosjet operates 2 Airbus A321-200of which one is operated by Onur Air; each of capacity 206 passengers and serves Asia & Europe. In Asia, it offers scheduled flights to Iraq, which is Baghdad & Erbil (its hub) and towards Europe, it flies to Stockholm, Sweden; Adana, Ankara & Istanbul in Turkey and Amsterdam, Netherlands.

As per the statistics from November 1st to 31st December 2015the airline has been on schedule 74% of the time and there have been no instances of cancellation or diversion. However, the flights of AtlasGlobal have a delay rate of 23%.
